Scientific Data Analyst - Student Position Intern Tel Aviv Description:
Vectorious has developed the world’s first in-heart microcomputer and is on a mission to transform heart failure treatment. As part of our first in-human clinical study, we have successfully implanted our sensory device in patients across Europe, while demonstrating a huge potential in helping millions of people living with heart failure to take control and manage their disease. As an increasingly growing company we’ve been accepted to FDA’s prestige Breakthrough Device Designation program.
We are looking for a talented Scientific Data Analyst to join our Medical Affairs departement.
What will you do?:
- Provide data-driven insights and feedback to inform clinical and product workflow.
- Design data analysis workflows to process growing clinical and LAP data efficiently.
- Identify trends, patterns, and correlations in physiological properties (mean LAP, waveform morphology, etc.) and clinical status.
- Advance analysis of LAP data including its distribution, trends, notable events, outliers and area under the curve.
- Advance analysis of data from the VECTOR-HF trials and sub-studies, including study endpoints.
- Investigate differences across various factors including patient subgroups, time frames, and variance between studies.
- Analyze clinical use cases and derive actionable insights.
- Analyze compliance, adherence, usability, notification alerts, and system performance metrics.
- Facilitate evidence-based decision-making and support.
What do you need to bring with you?:
- Availability for a part-time position, primarily intended for students with at least 1 year until completion of studies.
- Bachelor's degree or currently enrolled in relevant studies (e.g. MD, MPH, Statistics, Biomedical studies).
- Experience in a data-rich and complex environment, preferably in healthcare or clinical research.
- Proven track record of delivering actionable insights from complex datasets.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Python, SQL, R, SAS).
- Strong attention to detail in data analysis and interpretation.
- Basic knowledge of statistics (experience with SPSS is a plus).
- Eagerness to stay updated on advancements in data analysis techniques and medical research.
- Understanding of medical terminology and concepts is an advantage.
- Familiarity with cardiovascular physiology is an advantage.
- Team player, positive attitude, collaborative.
- Willing to take ownership and make things happen.
